What we’re trying to do…

We’ are’re thrilled so many podcasts are discussing recovery journies, conditions, therapies, and programs. With each episode, those podcasts are reducing stigma, expanding knowldge, and encouraging people to get treatment.

At Do Behave, our focus is on taking the deeper dive into the business of delivering behavioral healthcare, major issues impacting treatment access, and big-picture perspectives from experienced leaders. There hasn’t been a more important time to keep our fingers on the pulse of the behavioral healthcare field and the issues affecting patients and providers.

Do Behave guests are selected because they offer unique insights into significant population health issues, behavioral healthcare policy and program operation, and other special knowledge to enrich and engage their colleagues. Wonkiness is welcome here!

How Appearing on Do Behave Works…

1) It’s On-Camera…

First off, this is a video podcast. Guests appear on camera. So you’ll want a decent on-camera set-up (think your best Zoom setup!). We use a podcasting platform called Riverside that captures high-res 4K video and audio (so it looks great!). We can often help if you need to up your camera game…

Guests receive a Riverside.com invitatuion. We request that they download the Riverside software/driver before the recording session (it’s easy).

2) There’s a 20-minute Pre-Production call…

It really helps to discuss the topic before the podcast! We’ll arrange a call at a time that works for you to discuss the topic we’ll be covering, talk about some potential key points, answer any of your questions, and check out your camera set-up.

3) A roughly 1-hour recording session…

It usually takes time to cover many sides of important topics. While we allocate an hour for recording sessions, we’re happy to longer if you wish! No reason to cut off good discussion!

4) Publication and social sharing…

We like to keep things real. We’re talking about serious stuff and there’s no need for a lot of editing. Real is good. We want the authentic person and their passion to come through. Once the piece is minimally edited, an accompanying article is written about the conversation. You can certainly contribute to that piece if you wish. We will also share the video on social media or use other promotional means. We ask our guests and their organizations to also share the podcast with folks they know.
